The winter season is fast approaching and snow is expected in the coming weeks across the country.
It’s not just the north of England and Scotland that will experience a gust either – Hertfordshire and other southern counties may well see snow over the weekend.
Areas of Hertfordshire were predicted to have snow towards the end of November, the forecast proved to be true based on the latest reports.

The data was taken from WXCharts, which displays detailed weather maps for areas across the country.
One of the maps showed areas in Hertfordshire where snow will fall over the weekend.
Between Friday (November 26) and Saturday (November 27), snow is expected to hit Hertfordshire for a few hours from midnight.
Then again at 6 a.m. on December 4, more snow will head to the county – could we see a White Christmas after all?
Over the weekend, temperatures could reach -5 in Hertfordshire, parts of the west of the county – including Tring, Berkhamsted and Harpenden – are expected to be among the coldest areas.
Daytime temperatures will rise again from early next week with highs of 9C in places, but the night could still bring freezing conditions across the county.
Despite the cool temperatures, the chance of rain is low over the next seven days.
