Portland Oregon weather forecast for Monday, September 26, 2022

Details for Monday, September 26, 2022

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Portland is working with one of the hottest Septembers on record and we will maintain it Monday afternoon as temperatures push into the upper 80s again.

High pressure keeps conditions warm, dry and clear in the Willamette Valley. We will only have a few hours in the upper 80s before these temperatures cool off as daylight ends earlier than the peak summer months.

There will be a few patches of fog over the Oregon Coast Monday morning. It will likely be more of a central Oregon coast pest. Daytime high of around 70 degrees out of Tillamook. We have some dry days even for the coast to start the week.

Right now we have pretty much perfect weather outside for hiking and sporting events. You can hike near Trillium Lake with temps in the 70s!

A stronger marine influence will arrive Tuesday, providing cooler air for the Oregon Coast. There will also be a cloud line for the coast on Tuesday. This marine layer will move into the Willamette Valley on Wednesday.
