Tuesday was another comfortable day across Mid-Michigan. High temperatures for the day were where they should be, ranging from the upper 70s to the lower 80s. Although we started the day with beautiful skies, as expected, we saw clouds forming for the afternoon. Some of the thicker clouds produced a brief bout of rain. We will see the showers and clouds subside tonight, and overnight low temperatures will hit the 60 degree mark.
Mother Nature is going to give us an encore performance of Tuesday’s weather, Wednesday. Bright early sunshine will give way to a build up of cloud over the afternoon. Some of the thicker clouds will spit up showers again, but as was the case on Monday and Tuesday, not everyone will see them. High temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s, on light north-northeast breezes.
Some warmer air will move into the ABC12 viewing area for the end of the work week. High temperatures on Thursday and Friday will easily move into the 80s. Saturday’s highs will cross back into the 80s as humidity levels rise a bit. Most of us will stay dry through Saturday morning, but there will be an increasing chance of rain and thunderstorms developing through Saturday afternoon and evening. On ABC12 News, we’ll get a look at the threat of rain for the entire weekend. -JR
