Thursday was a beautiful day across Mic-Michigan, although our temperatures were only a skosh below “normal”. Bright sunshine took readings in the 50s early in the day, rising into the 70s during the afternoon. With a good bit of starlight again expected overnight, temperatures early Friday morning will bottom out in the 50s with very light east to southeast breezes.
Friday will start with some sunshine, but the clouds will settle over us fairly quickly. The winds for the day will remain quite light and the direction will shift to the south. This should translate to high temperatures just a little warmer than the readings we enjoyed on Thursday afternoon. It is possible that some rain will fall at the end of the day, but we will all have a better chance of getting a few drops on Friday evening.
We will also have more chances of rain during the weekend. I don’t see any washout, but I think we’ll get quite a bit of cloud cover each day. We will face scattered showers on Saturday. Sunday will see a bit more rain, with a chance of hearing some rumbling thunder. There will definitely be some humidity in the air as the high temperatures hover around the 80 degree mark every day. On ABC12 News, we’ll let you know until next week when the threat of rain will persist. -JR
