JR’s Monday Night Weather Report | Provide

After a fairly gray weekend, it was certainly nice to see clearer skies to start our work week. With the help of the sun, the below-average morning readings quickly rose to “normal” levels for most of us during the afternoon. With an onshore breeze, our riverside communities were a bit cooler than everyone else. Clouds and isolated splashes that appeared Monday afternoon will fade into the evening.

Each of the next two days will be very similar to our Monday. We will start Tuesday and Wednesday with beautiful skies and temperatures slightly below our average of 59 degrees. Every afternoon we will see clouds rising. While most of us will stay dry, a few of the thicker clouds will spit out a few drops of rain. Then each evening we will see the isolated showers and the clouds fading again. Daily highs will be around 80.

The weekend period will be a little warmer as our winds will eventually return from the south and southwest. For the most part, partly sunny skies should end the week, and our high temperatures will easily move into the 80s. Our “normal” high is now just at the 80 degree mark. On ABC12 News, we’ll let you know if we’ll see the rain return for the weekend. -JR
