CLEVELAND (WJW) – Changes are coming! A few showers and thunderstorms will cross the region late this evening. It is possible to see an isolated strong to severe storm, but this threat is rapidly diminishing.

Fresh and cooler air will enter this evening. Any chance of a serious threat will end before midnight.

Cloudy and cool tomorrow with some areas of drizzle throughout the day. We’ll start drying things out by Thursday evening, but temperatures will drop quickly. Highs only in the low to mid 60s during the day.

You might need your umbrella on the tailgate as a few showers are coming out, but you’ll definitely need your Browns sweatshirt for the game! At kick-off, the times will be in the upper 50s.

HELLO AUTUMN! The autumnal equinox arrives during the game at 9:02 p.m.

Cooler temperatures continue throughout the week! No big surprise that we are going to feel a temperature drop of 20 degrees in 24 hours. This is the time of year when these large swings occur most often.

The cooler pattern continues into next week. The trend suggests that we will begin to warm up in the first week of October. Probably not as hot as last week, but overall temperatures tend to be above normal. Stay tuned!
