Burke: bowl game weather forecast for Tuesday’s five games – VSiN Sports Betting News – News

We have a bowl game at Chase Field where the weather is not an issue, but there are potential weather issues in a few of today’s bowl games.

Birmingham Bowl – The game between Houston and Auburn, which feels like a low scoring game in my opinion to begin with, has a chance of showers, but more importantly, sustained winds in the 10-15mph range and gusts of 26. at 28 mph range during play. The total is down and some 49.5 are even there now.

First Responders Bowl – The weather will be fine in Dallas today, but the winds could reach 20mph with a good gust in the game against Louisville and the Air Force. One team uses the triple option and the other does not, so the wind will only affect one of those two teams if the breezes lift.

Freedom Bowl – It looks like the worst winds will subside before the Liberty Bowl kicks off at 5:45 p.m. local time between Texas Tech and the State of Mississippi. Like two teams who like to throw the ball, the morning gusts until the 1930s would have been a big problem. Keep an eye out for this one, as any change in the forecast could have an impact, but the National Weather Service forecast shows winds easing around 4 p.m. CT.

Holiday Bowl – There is a slight risk of showers in San Diego, but wind will not be a factor between NC State and UCLA.

Keep an eye out for the latest COVID news as it could very well be a possibility in these bowling greens and all the others.
