BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty interrupts the weather report for a cheeky swipe at Carol Kirkwood’s dress
BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty noticed something funny about Carol Kirkwood’s dress today.
The weathercaster was briefing Britons on the forecast when her colleague cut short his transfer to the main hosts.
While presenting the weather, Carol wore a dark blue dress with white polka dots, which almost matched the weather map behind her.
“Tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) we could have gale force gusts in the South West of England, as well as South Wales, up to 70 miles an hour for the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly,” Carol said.
“Something to watch, Naga and Charlie.”
But before she could finish, Naga pointed out something very weird about Carol’s dress.
“Definitely something to watch out for…Carol, I’m very glad there are no snow showers in the West of England, because if there were you would look like a floating head.”
Carol jokingly replied, “Thank you, Naga.”
Both of them laughing, Naga replied, “See you, Carol. See you later.
Their amusing exchange comes a day after presenter Dan Walker punched a viewer who complained his pants were too tight.
The viewer thought Dan’s tight pants looked more like jeggings than a pair to match the jacket.
They wrote on Twitter: “Is @mrdanwalker wearing jeggings this morning on @BBCBreakfast?”
They may have been shocked when Dan responded directly to them, saying, “No, he’s not #RegulationTrousers.”
The viewer replied, “It must be a play of light!”
The presenter usually presents the show alongside his co-star Sally Nugent from Monday to Wednesday, before Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt take over for the rest of the week.
