Flood WATCH remains in effect for Central – Southern Vermont, Northern Adirondacks…. Tuesday afternoon through most of Wednesday…. combination of melting snow and incoming precipitation possibly producing additional ice jams….

Surface scan shows a border that stretches across the Adirondacks – North Country – Central Vermont…. the border is moving north tonight – Tuesday…. as a developing system is bringing moisture/rain to the area…. signs of the weekend system are across the Pacific Northwest….

The Futurecast may be showing some sun early on Tuesday…. the rain settles in the afternoon….

predicted high temperatures will range from the mid and upper 40s to the lower 50s….

Another major cold front rolls into Wednesday noon…. could be a lingering rain shower early…. an afternoon snow shower in the Adirondacks during the afternoon…. times drop for everyone during the afternoon….

STORM WATCH……I just want to give you heads up. After this mild weather – Blast of cold air for GAME….and the stage is set for a major storm for the NE. Still early…but most models agree…snow arrives Thursday evening and continues through Friday. There is the possibility of a bit of southern blending. We will keep you posted. Just be prepared if you have travel plans.
